Meet Your Maker

On the off-chance you don't go with one of our ring makers, here's some things to keep in mind when looking around for jewelers.

Experience and Expertise

An experienced professional shouldn't need to hard sell you on their services, if you ever feel pressured in the moment that's probably a red flag and it might be worth walking away from the commission breath.

Their portfolio of work should do the talking. They should be excited for you that really enjoy the design process and possibilities to collaborate on a ring design that suits you.

Speaking of, they should offer a range of options for metals, finishes, inlays, stones and engravings. Consider their flexibility to accommodate unique or intricate designs.

Reputation and Reviews

There is a reason businesses still use reviews, testimonials and ratings (including Ringify). Social proof is a great way to see that they can back up the quality of their work and service. It reduces risk in your mind that people like you, have been happy with the same decision you're about to make.

To be included in Ringify's list of makers, they need to be at the top of their craft. We thoroughly vet and inspect all of our makers, including a deep dive into their reviews so you don't have to.

Post-Purchase Services

Does the ring maker provide things like warranties, free resizing, cleaning, and repair services?

A jeweler who stands by their work is a sign of confidence and quality.

Communication

This is a given, but you'd be surprised. Make sure you take note of their communication, they should be clear and transparent. They should take the time to understand the vision you have of your ring design and give clear guidance on design feasibility, timelines and costs. They should explain every step of the process and keep you updated on the progress.
